Last year they reckoned to have cut 60 acres of grass, strimmed miles of grave edges and in the process drunk 100 pints of tea and coffee and eaten 36lbs of cake.

This ensures that not only is the church a welcoming place for regular church goers but it also is clean and ready for other services such as funerals, weddings and baptisms.

As time went on more and more groups in the Village were sending information about their activities and it seemed more appropriate to name it Little Baddow News.

There are a number of regular contributors and there are opportunities for groups to advertise their events and for articles of particular interest - these are always welcome.

Advertisements for local businesses are also welcomed.
